The DMT exam spans 7 domains: Physics and Physiology (7.5% of the exam); Decompression Sickness & Cerebral Arterial Gas Embolism (15% of the exam); Patient Assessment (25% of the exam); Recompression Treatment & Decompression Procedures (22.5% of the exam); Invasive Procedures (10% of the exam); Other Diving Related Injuries, Side Effects & Complications (15% of the exam); Chamber, Equipment and Operational Safety (5% of the exam). Every practice question on this site is tagged to one of these domains.

The domains are not weighted equally on the exam. By share of the marks: Patient Assessment 25%; Recompression Treatment & Decompression Procedures 22.5%; Decompression Sickness & Cerebral Arterial Gas Embolism 15%; Other Diving Related Injuries, Side Effects & Complications 15%; Invasive Procedures 10%; Physics and Physiology 7.5%; Chamber, Equipment and Operational Safety 5%.
